Weddings by Sophie

Sophie is a professionally trained singer, having studied Music Education in Trinity College Dublin and the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She has recently completed her Masters in Musicology and Performance at Maynooth University, receiving a First Class Honours. Sophie also holds a Diploma in Vocal Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. 

Sophie has won numerous competitions and accolades over the years, most recently the Arklow Music Festival Adult Light Opera/Musical Solo 2023. 

Sophie has studied under some of Ireland's most renowned voice teachers, including Regina Nathan, Owen C. Lynch and Virginia Kerr. 

Sophie believes that music plays a central role in every wedding ceremony. She works closely with couples in selecting their music. Her powerful, pure voice covers a multidude of songs and genres.
